Corner/side cap metal polish?

When I bought my used Gold Crown IV all the metal was pitted, etc. Had all the rail pieces and the feet powder coated. This was years ago and it cost around $150. Came out great and got to pick the color from a wide variety of choices.

My friend did the same with his GC III when he saw my results (he was moving and had to take his table apart anyway).
 
Thanks for replies. I will check with metal plating service in Fond du lac and post their price. Doesn't make sense to replate at $250 and resell at $200.
Same problem though with the levelers! badly discolored. Not responding to polish yet.

I really like the look of that leveler. I would leave them as is for sure.

That pocket casting in the pic doesn’t look as cool, but still not bad to me.

I do like a mirror shine sometimes on something brand new but there’s something to be said for the “old and tough”, well used look.
 
I opted for new nickel pocket castings for my GC IV Pro 8. I like these better than the original chrome which were not bad but scratched, corroded.

And…Caps are the wrong name for dental
crowns. Ok back on subject.

Sounds good! Lol I’ll choose the other side, whatever it was, because that’s just what we do here. LMAO.

Another vote for “Casting”, never heard it called anything else.
