Here is a Corsair Cue by Hank Korsiak. The butt is black phenolic and the bottom of the shaft is phenolic also.

Wow, that's a lot of phenolic! What's the weight???

I don't remember the weight, but it is not all that heavy. I am guessing it is Phenolic tube cored inside with maple, but I am not cutting it apart to find out.

Yep, he sleeved those over maple cores. They play surprising well, too...nice hitters !!
