Could I do better?

I've been considering buying another Break cue. But honestly I don't know if it will be worth it. I currently break with an Elite I purchased many years ago. I can't afford to buy and try out other break cues and I'm afraid I'll purchase a more expensive breaker just to find out there is no difference.
So I'm looking for input on break cues and comparisons to Elite. I know its a lower end price cue.......

So?
Would I benefit from upgrading?
Does anyone own an Elite and prefer it over more expensive breakers?
How does this cue compare to others?
Is there a drastic improvement in the new more expensive break cues?

I know it all comes down to personal preference, but I'm looking for y'alls opinion and personal experiences.

All you need to do is hit the balls square with a little pop stroke.
A break cue is going to do nothing for you. All the break cues is silly in my mind. You got more then enough with the cue you got.

I've used many a break cue including this exact one. I would say save your money and maybe get a lesson. I believe that would help more than a different cue. Yes many do feel different, some better than others, but it's all about controlling whitey no matter what you use. Good luck with whatever you choose!

I always think the most important thing is mastering whatever tool you have. If it isn't the right tool for you, then upgrade. More likely than not, it isn't the tool :) learn to love what you have and master it!

I have the same Elite, and it's not a bad break cue at all. I think the wood pin makes it hit very solid. The only issue I have is that the phenolic tip doesn't take chalk all that well; which can cause miscues.

As the old saying goes, "Its not the cue, its the shooter."
I have a 200$ B/j cue in my case. I do not even take it with me when I go to bars or anything like that. I grab a house cue and thats my new break stick.

What they said.

I agree with the lesson one..

Isn't Hillbilly around there somewhere? That would be money/time well spent.
