Could someone give me advice on selling my Hill's cue?

Fwiw, probably priced a bit high but not much. The fact the you are new with very few posts and no iTrader will make people leary....several scammers have been causing problems here as of late. And lastly...this is the current cue market...with such a glut of cues, sometimes they don't sell even at a great price. Way, way, way too much wood in the market. Good luck with your sale. You may need to offer to go through an escrow agent on the transaction to make your buyer feel more comfortable.

Priced high for the buyers here on AZ, and the pics are bad.....plus you'll have at LEAST 4 people ask for the shaft weight, butt weight, balance point, thread count in the wrap, butt diameter, butt diameter at the top of wrap, bottom of wrap, wrapped in a sock, shaft diameter at the ferrule, bottom of ferrule, middle-top of ferrule, and a multitude of other questions, only to answer and have them either never respond or suddenly not be interested.......but other than that you'll love this place:thumbup:

Just messing around a bit, seriously you do have to GIVE something away here anymore, and the pics are bad.....plus you're new and the scams here lately have people being very careful. .......I think $400 and you'd have people fighting over it.

$400 + shipping/paypal fees it is then. I know I'm new, selling this cue at $400 should show good faith. I have 100% feedback on ebay "yellovettedean" and a very good rep on Corvette Forum for selling parts. The cue will definetly be shipped and an extremely good value at $400. You never know I might sell my cue on order. I don't know what I'm going to do yet. It's been an awfully long wait.

How do you do the escrow thing? Do you pay an impartial third party and they in turn pay the seller upon receipt and approval of the merchandise???
thanks in advance for the explination

The pictures could be a lot better

plus all the bluing on the shaft makes the cue look a lot more "used" than it really is.

Take it to a cue maintenance guy and have him clean it up.

Cue pictures should be better. Clean the cue up especially the shafts. The market is bad for selling any cues right now. Give clear spec's regarding weight of butt and shafts and size of ferrules. The more information the better. Cue should be clean because first impressions mean a lot. Cue should not have dings in the butt or shafts. I don't think the zero Itrader is really that big of an influence because the buyer could have you ship your cue first. I hope this helps.

Yes, and could you give me dims with 5 reference points at the very point the ferrule meets the wood every 1/16" of an inch up and down. Just want to make sure it's the same..

I have a decent Hill's cue for sale here with absolutely no response. Is it priced to high or is it that I'm new here? Is it something else?

I'm selling it because I really don't play anymore and I have another cue that will be built soon.

This is the cue in question.

I am confused. You said the cue was sold. You won't get many bites if people don't think it is available
