We might be seeing the very first shootout if Philippines & Taipeh score 3-3. Stream on table 5 has been quite smooth so far. It it buffers, just refresh and it will be ok again. I just noticed though that the live scoring is slightly ahead. So if you do not want to know the results, just watch the live streaming.

"This" Rubilen Amit is very good? It's as if this is the first time you've heard of her or seen her play, but I'm sure you have. She's a two-time World 10-ball Champion.

I have heard of her but this is the first time I have actually watched her play. Very impressed with her performance so far. This Philippines vs Taipeh match is like the championship already. They are very evenly matched.
 
It all comes down to the last rack now bet Philippines and Taiwan. Doesn't get any closer than this. Taipei must win to get into shootout. Philippines up 3 matches to 2. Last matchup mixed doubles 6-6 apiece race to 7.

Germany ahead of Japan 3-2.

Both China Teams through to the semi-finals.

:thumbup: Yes, it could not get any closer than that!!! Congrats to the team of Biado and Amit. They really did a fine job. That last rack was breathtaking. Team Taipeh was on the hill and was breaking but had a dry break.
 
We might be seeing our first shootout if Japan wins the last match up with Germany. Germany is leading right now 3-2 but Japan is 3-0 on the last match and can tie the game at 3 all.

Both teams deserved high praise it was too close of match either team could have won. Probably the closest team match in recent years. Man that last rack was nerve-racking lol.

Meanwhile Japan leads 4-0 Germany in last match of the day Germany leads Japan 3 matches to 2. Japan must win this time to make it 3-3 and go to shootout.
 
Form a team from these 4 teams inc taiwan and mix them in the Mosconi cup... North America and Europe will get slaughtered.
