Just because war heroes and Nobel Peace Prize winners display courage doesn't mean you can't use that word in any other context.

Every good competitor has it.....winning or losing, you keep doing what works for you.
 
It's relative.

Off course hitting a pool shot is not the same as storming a machine gun nest.

In context it can be relative.

Have to disagree Dennis. When you got 10,000 bet on a shot that wins or loses a set, it does become a courageous shot !
