Thinking of picking up a GC 2 and changing to GC 4 sight rails. Is this possible?

It'd cost you a fortune, by the time you buy the GC2 and upgrade the rails you'll have more invested than just buying a used GC4 IMO of course.
so if i get one for $400..it would be a deal?
so i can find one for $400 that would be about $2000 for a brand new looking GC IV?
that doesn't sound so bad..and the slates for the GC II's are suppose to be better than the GC IV's.
