I have a camera I used when giving lessons, but I have been looking at smaller options for ease of use.

Hey, that's pretty cool. I might get one of those slender bicycle crash helmets and that new "Action Tripod" and wear the Ultra HD camcorder mounted on a helmet while playing in Buffalo's pool tournament. I could see myself recording matching up with people and playing the match and putting that on youtube. :D

But seriously, the video quality is rather nice for a low light pool room environment.
thanks,

If you had $250 burning a hole in your pocket and you wanted to spend it on something to improve your game what would you spend it on.

EXCEPT: No instructors, no pro pool player lessons, no videos.

Well I would play $5 & $10 "9-Ball or 8-Ball" with a better player until the money ran out, or until I made a good score, either way, if you have any play about ya, your game should improve!............

if nothing else, buy a better cue!:)

Actually the very best way to Improve your game is to watch two players for many, many hours and soak-up (Retain) everything you have observed.

This has worked very well for me over the years and has gotten me out of many slumps, just by watching someone run out, and run out correctly, gets me wanting to play real bad, and when I get that feeling, I play very well.

I know Joey that this has nothing to do with the $250, but thought I would add anyway.

Well David, you could plead the case that I could spend the $250 on traveling to where pro players have matches and sweat them and learn from them. That's a pretty cool way to spend money.

That brings a story to mind about Scott Frost and Leil Gay, in Baton Rouge, playing one pocket for $300 a game. My local road dog PVL and I wound up watching those two play from 9 pm until the sun rose in the morning. We only realized it was daylight because the morning sun was trying to creep in the windows. Leil's cigarette looked like it had a toothpick shoved in; the ashes were at least as long as the remaining cigarette.:D The match see-sawed all night and we never left our stools except for a drink or a snack. We didn't even have a bet on the match, we just liked seeing these two go at it all those many hours, fighting fatigue, and managing lady luck.

$250.00 is a sufficient budget for buying the table time of the three tables surrounding me at the local room during my practice sessions.
