I've got a McDermott that's probably 15 years old. It has a diner scene and some Harley Davidson Graphics on the handle. At some time over the years, I dropped the case, and the clear, plastic?(or something) finish over the graphic has broken. The result is that there are streaks on the butt and above the string that feel obviously broken, and you can see the cracks going up the handle. Again, this appears top be only in the finish, and the stick and graphic seem to be fine.
Is there something like polyurethane or some other substance that I might apply to the affected areas to fill in the cracks and give the stick an undamaged appearance? Thank you.
