Cracks in McDermott Gcore shaft.

I just bought a McDermott G204 a few days ago. After the first use I noticed cracks in opposite sides of the shaft. I'm really disappointed wasn't expecting something like this to happen from a McDermott product.

I'm wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience with this brand of shaft or similar one?

It happens and can happen with any no matter who, what, when, where! Send it back get a new one!

Happens, it's in warranty, replace it. If you look a bit on the site there are posts about Predator also and just about every other shaft out there. My OB shaft had the ferrule crack at the tip and I have no issues with them overall once that was repaired.
