talk about a crazy shot someone was telling me a story of a game he saw where a ball was pocketed and it had just the right amount of strengh and speed and i say luck to knock a ball already pocketed into the playing surface. so lets say i shoot the 6 in it stays down but the 3 pops out. what would be the call for that?
 
First, I think it's almost impossible for that to happen because the balls don't fit in the pocket that way. But, stranger things have happened.....in any case, the ball that pops back out onto the playing surface would be put back in the pocket.

yup stranger things have happened like this Saturday i had 3 nine ball breaks in a row what are the chances.
 
To further the hypothetical, what would happen if a pocketed ball jumped out of the pocket and hit a ball on the playing surface (say the 9-ball)?

and then knocked it in.





whoaaaaa that thought just blew my mind. A ball coming up outta the pocket and knocking the 9 in. crazy
 
Off the top of my head, I think the 9-ball would be spotted and the incoming player would get ball in hand.

It would sorta be like if the cue ball jumped up on the rail and hit the chalk which then hit the hanging 9-ball causing it to fall in.

Combos using the chalk don't count. Same goes with dead balls.
