Justin and Chad,

I think you all know that 99.99% of us here wish you nothign but success upon success.

Please just take it as constructive speculation from the best brain trust in billiards.

We are your customers and also your partners. We don't want to see anything happen to you and so it's only good that all issues be discussed, dissected, and taken care of.

As long as you all have your asses covered then it's all good - we sure don't want to lose the video feed to a Johnston City style Keystone Cops episode!

John
We appreciate all the support and knowledge that has been given to us here and elsewhere.

I understand the concerns of some people. I believe that you educate yourself to the risks of a situation the best you can and then use your best judgement of how to proceed. The fact that it is POSSIBLE that somewhere in the future a bureaucrat somewhere MAY not like what we are doing is not enough to keep us from putting on what we feel is a completely legitimate event.

If everyone worried about what COULD happen we would never leave the house. If Greg Sullivan worried too much we would never have the Derby. If you went to the Derby and everyone there was paranoid about what COULD happen it would not be the same event.

Better to try and fail than never to try at all.

But then you already know that John. I am sure you have done more than your share of things in life that had people saying "I'm not sure about that" or "That is not how you should do it". By any measure you have created some things, that otherwise, without the willingness to risk would not have been made. So I appreciate your input.

With the help of the players and all of the great supporters from here we are gonna try.

Ain't that the truth - One of the all time FUNNIEST things in the world is seeing Police Officers more concerned with players smoking in the DCC action room than the fact that there were stacks of dough and everyone was betting something. I loved it and it was one of the the few times in life where I felt REALLY alive and pumped up.

That's how life should be - allow folks to do that which doesn't harm others and let life be LIVED!!!!

Rock on guys!
