Yes, you can call your credit card company and dispute charges that were made to the IPT for playing in qualifiers for the 07 yr, media charges and membership fees.

Call the card that you have used to charge any of the above, and dispute the charges....

Eydie...Sadly Eydie, it is too late for the vast majority of Qualfier players. The dispute MUST have been filed within 60 days of the first time the chages appeared on the credit card statement.

Even then, there is a VERY cumbersome process involved and the final decision rests ultimately with the credit card company's dispute resolution dept. which is highly unlikely to get involved when complex legal issues are involved.

Finally, the process is even more illusive when "billing errors" are not in dispute but rather a judgment about the "quality" of the goods or services to be complained about.

But in any event, for most, the deadline has already passed.

Yes, this is true to a point. Although, people who have played in qualifiers for 07, and since the venues have been tentivily CANCELLED or what have you, and not rescheuled at this point. They may dispute their charges because of this. The money will be DEDUCTED from the account in which it was credited to (unless they CANCEL their account) and put in limbo until the credit card company or JUDGE determins who get's it.

You still can cancel any other media, memberships or what have you. Make sure you get a reciept from The IPT showing your cancelation. I have had several people email me saying that they cancelled and they were still being billed.. BUYER BEWARE!
There are exceptions, and it wont hurt to give it a try. So, with this being said call your credit card company TODAY!

Great advice...and I have hear...rumors of course...that those people who cannot get vendors to cancel monthly charges...sometimes...by accident of course...happen to LOSE their credit cards...inform the issuer and have a new NUMBER and card issued...under which no such monthly charges can be billed.

Beware of Debit 's on card!!!

I signed up for a free 6 mo. internet account one time, with computer purchase, .
I had problems logging in, they set up new account, Guess what ,debits started . Called wrote letters, didnt matter. I changed my internet provider. They would not stop taking out .

I called my bank they said you must get them to agree to stop. I told the bank, I am out of here . cancel my acct. Goodbye.
6 months's later, collection agency called pay' or credit is marked ,as deadbeat
I payed, as at time we were buying oceanfront condo's. Now have lawyer on retainer, thru work, I think this would have helped.
