Crical case

Chek'd in for some entertainment. Might be the most un-hinged dumpsterfire of a thread on a piece of equipment in history. Both these guys are coming off as delusional and nuttier than squirrel shit. Back to Ignore, that was really more than i needed to sweat. Wow.

I honestly don't want to add fuel to the fire of the absolute dumpster fire we have going on here... but say your case was sitting on a high table like they have in many bars. All it takes is someone carelessly bumping your case to the floor and that would be enough to shatter the end of that tube. It was already stress cracked/broken from the tacks.
Interesting thought, and that would have been an interesting test. There's going to be much less force involved in a case falling off a table (probably onto a surface that's softer than concrete) vs. somebody literally throwing the case at a concrete floor doing what he calls a "smash test." There's actually a shocking difference in impact force just between concrete and wood, let alone any form of carpet. So, who knows. Another factor is that such a scenario is easy to imagine but I don't know how common it is. I can't remember the last time I saw somebody accidentally knock a case off of anything from any significant height. I'm sure it happens, but, it seems rare.

Thanks for letting me know that the tacks have probably cracked the interior shell. I wasn't able to make it through that whole video myself.

There is a price point for everything and honestly for many/most people the case you bought will serve the purpose. It's less durable and I wouldn't trust it with my custom cue but for a starter case, league night or such it will probably be just fine.
Yeah. it depends on what you want and what you're trying to protect against. My laptop is worth much more than my pool cue, but I carry it around in a thin $25 sleeve that will protect the laptop from scratches and minor bumps, and that's about it. Because I want it to be protected from scratches, and I'm going to take care to not drop it off of tables or whatever. I could buy a $200 Pelican case for my laptop that's the size of a briefcase and weighs twice as much as the laptop itself, and I'm sure that would protect it from the "smash test," but, meh.
