So I just figured out that I was cross-eye dominant (My right eye is dominant, but I shoot lefty). And I have only a week before play-offs, and I'm not sure what has changed, now that I have moved my right eye over the cue. Certain shots that I was baffled with missing before, now make sense. When I miss a shot, I can see that I hit it too thick or thin and my accuracy has gone up (Whereas before, it looks like I'm perfectly lined up and I'll miss and not have a clue why).
A problem I'm having is that my long shot accuracy seems to have gone down. I can pocket these balls better while using my old head position.
Can someone explain what I'm doing wrong and what types of shots are going to change or stay the same or get better now that I'm lined up properly?
