I have a Router mounted on one cross slide, a Quick Change Tool Post on another and a Proxxon Tool (similar to Dremel) on another. Takes me 5 seconds to switch to another setup vs a few minutes.

Oh, I see. Just seems like there would be an easier way. I assume this is on a deluxe. I would be worried that the cross slide was not square with the headstock and chuck. I never cared for the way taig holds the compound cross slide anyways.

Jim the base (mount for the compound cross slide is fixed. It is just the compound slide itself that changes.

Ok, now I got it. Naturally, I assumed that the cross slide including the base was change out. Your way, not too bad.
