Thursdays: B-C-D Handicapped 9 ball (ball/game spots) w/ auction
A long time staple of North Jersey tournaments, average players 25-32+. Auction draw @ 8:00 pm. Race to 5 on winners side a race to 4 on losers side. $20 dollar entry, (soon to be 25) with a twist. $ 7 dollar greens fee and $ 2 dollar / man quarterly deduction.
Every 12 weeks, on a Saturday, is a quarterly tournament. The $2 per man gets added to the quarterly pot, you need to play 6 of the 12 weeks to qualify. Entry is $40 for this tournament. The last 2 tournaments had a top prize of almost $3,000.00 for a single day tourney. A payout like this is unheard of for this skill level tournament.
Sundays: Handicapped “entry” tournament. (Money handicap only) w/ Calcutta
$ 35.00 “pro”, $ 30 “A”, $25 “B”, $ 20 “C”, $15 “D”. A growing tournament that should get a little bigger now that the North Eastern tours have ended. Every one plays even and its races to 5 in both brackets. So for all you New Yawkers, and Pennsyltuckians, time to come to Crown and be knighted. Auction drawing is $ 7:00 PM. If this grows like we hope, it will start earlier. (Ideally we would like this to start around 5-5:30 pm.)
First and third Saturdays of every month, Super Handicapped Tournament
Afternoon tournament, 12:00 pm. Larger money handicapped tournament using Tri State game handicapping rules. Entry starts at $ 65.00 per open player declines from there. Auction drawing, good players should bring this tournament up very quickly.
