Just a quick note to let everyone know that we have been without electricity since Monday morning, due to the massive Oklahoma ice storm. We just got our power back on, today. We have had many e-mails and wanted to let everyone know why we haven't been able to reply. We are responding to all the e-mails as quickly as possible.

LOL... no water to bathe in is alot worse, but if you drink enough beer i guees you forget about not bathing :D

It is awful to be without power for any length of time. Three weeks would be miserable. If you had running water (especially hot water) and a gas range to cook on, it would make it somewhat easier, but still miserable. The temp could also contribute to the discomfort.

That simple comment is a thought to be considered.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I hope it didn't impact your health. My best wishes for warmth and power remaining on.

Have you got your power back on, yet? We saw on tv tonight that there are still almost 60,000 in the OKC area without power and almost as many still without near the Tulsa area.

Did you have any storm damage? We just had a few tree branches go down. Some went down on the garage, but there doesn't seem to be any damage to the garage. My wife's "pet" willow tree had some pretty nasty damage. I don't know if it's gonna be worth trying to save. She's been pretty attached to that tree.

Sure hope you're back on. We've had some pretty cold temps, lately! At least most of the time the power was out, we didn't have single digit temps. That's something to be glad about.
