Here are my not so bold predictions:
1. At least 4 of the following players will reach the round of 6: Hohmann, Souquet, Reyes, Manalo, Orcullo, Bustamante, Archer, Immonen, Varner and Stalev. These players reached that round in the 2005 KOH and/or the 2006 North American championships. Reyes and Manalo are the only players who were in the final 6 in both tournaments.
2. I see 3 Filipinos, 2 Europeans and possibly a Taiwanese (more probably WU than HSIA) completing the cast in the round of 6. I don't see a woman making it to this round. No, not yet, perhaps not in the next 10 years.
3. A player from Germany or the Philippines or, by a longer shot, Taiwan, will win the crown. Sorry, I don't see an American winning this one or any of the remaining IPT tournaments this year. I predict, however, that one will finally break out and win in 2007.
