Cte Aiming Thought.

I really haven't given this CTE thing much weight and I do shoot real well with out it. I have tried it a little with back cuts and then one shot I tried the cue an object were about 1.5" apart a real thin cut and shooting 3/4 the length of the table it was in 3 out of four times two of them "split the pocket". I am sure there are some holes in this system but some of these shots are dead nuts and I am just doing this with out much effort or aptitude on my part,, pretty impressive...

I am the kind of guy who needs to know how it works so I can know where to make adjustments.

You are pocketing the balls, but are you getting shape on your next shot.

What happens when you need to use english to get the CB to go a different path than the one that using CTE gives you?

Oh I would certainly play better with out CTE aiming I am just saying it does seem kind of impressive. Seems like the margin of error would be about 7.5 degrees over the length of the table certainly the width of a couple of pockets or more....
 
im going to try this out tonite and see what heppens, I guess the pivot will be the hard part? since the rest sound pretty simple? I just want this to help my long cut shots and when i am not shooting well :thumbup:

It seems to me that the CTE system is using the edge of the OB to find the ghost ball contact point.

It is easier to sight/aim at the Edge of the OB, than trying to find the ghost ball contact point.

I think when you start using serious english you may need to make additional adjustments for the CIT (Collision Induced Throw) and squirt/swerve, etc.....

Try shooting the CTE shots with a strong follow stroke or a strong draw stroke.

No problem, either with english or draw or follow.
