Let me first say that I will not be posting much in this thread (if at all). I've made it clear that I no longer use CTE or any aiming system for that matter, except maybe on some banks. I do not care how people may respond to this post, and I'm not looking to take any sides.
Short(ish) story...
So here I am tonight strolling through my local Sears department store doing a little shopping. When suddenly, out of nowhere. Boom! Pool table! At first I didn't think much of it, but then realized that it was 7.5' The assembled size was 90"L x 51"W
Wow, I never even knew they made 7.5' tables. So then I got to thinking about how it's been said by Stan, and others (even myself I'm sure) that CTE is connected to the 2x1 table, and that's why it works. That it would NEVER work on an odd sized table.
So there I was with an opportunity to test it out firsthand, and boy did I. Well at least as much as I could test out a pool table in the middle of a department store. As you can see from the photos, there wasn't much room. I was still able to grab a cheap un-chalked stick that was for sale and hit a few balls.
I hit a few straight in shots in the upper right pocket, then a few left a right cuts into the bottom right pocket. On the cuts I used shots requiring both the 15 and 30 degree perceptions. I did not, however, try any of the single line perceptions. Only because I was strapped for time.
For testing purposes I only used manual pivots on these shots. Of all the shots I played, every single one of them was made. IN MY OPINION that can only mean one of two things.
1. CTE works as advertised, but is not limited to a 2x1 table.
2. CTE works, but not as advertised, and subconscious adjustments are being made.
