Just a shout out to cueandcushion. I finally got to play at his place over the weekend when visiting STL. Unfortunately I didn't stay but an hour or so, stopped on the way into town for a baseball game. While the equipment is very well maintained and prices for pool very reasonable, it's the atmosphere of that place that I wanted to comment on. The hundreds of pictures/posters/autographs covering the walls make that place what it is. Some of the pictures look like they date back into the 50's pool scene, and must have quite a story behind them. (too bad i'm not old enough to know any of them). Anyway, if you find yourself in the area I highly recommend you stop and check it out for yourself.

Perhaps everybody knows, but I just want to point out that the owner/operator of cueandcushion is one of our very own. He posts frequently in the room owner discussion area and is very generous with his knowledge from his considerable experience. I for sure will stop into his place when I'm passing thru St. Louis.

I`ve been in Cue and Cushion several times, and I want to echo that the place is great to play in, great for cues, great for ambience, and great for service. Obviously I highly recommend it.

Will:p :p :p  ;) ;)
