Cue Ball replacement effect on rest of set

I got a set of vintage nos aramith premium balls that have never been used. The set comes with an oversized cue ball 2 3/8 the others are 2 1/4 standard size. My question is can I replace the cue ball with no ill effects on the ball set. I know many say not to mix ball sets, but just wanted to toss this question out there. I will replace with a correct vintage cue ball 2 1/4.

You can do that no problem. You will like playing with it better too!
