This has been discussed before.

To catch you up to date.
These balls are made by Aramith. Although they were sold individually for a while, you can only get them now, as part of a set.

ok, but does anyone have any idea where i might be able to lay my hands on one of these?

kinda like to have one.

Hey DCP

Just go to a pro event,Paint a logo on your back promoting an online gambling service and streak the TV tabl, grab the cue ball and run like hell! I'll drive the gat away car. Other than that I don't think I can help.

That’d be dangerous; a 130lb pool player could tackle you.

And definitely look out for Rodney and Hillbilly- I'll bet they will F you up!

Don't even think about pulling that w/ Earl, either- I bet he'd bite you.

Nah, Rodney's kinda small, and Hillbilly doesn't look very mobile. Go for it DCP, I think petty larceny is an excellent solution (unless of course that Jim Jennings is there, now he looks like he could catch you AND pinch your head off without breaking a sweat). Has anyone ever seen this Jennings play (I noticed that he won the Georgia amateur tournament) - he is strong. His break and George Breedlove's were both WAY above the average at DCC (I didn't see anyone else even close to those two - even Hillbilly).

I recently picked mine up on ebay. The guy said he thought it might be his last one. If you do find one, be prepared to pay above the original MSRP for it.
I have to say that I really do like it. It allows you to very clearly see the spin on the ball. For me, that means I pretty much instantly know now if I hit the cue ball correctly or not, before it ever makes contact with the object ball. I like it as a 'training' tool.
Fair warning...some people find the red dots quite distracting while shooting...it messes with their depth perception or something.
