Hello:
I am pretty new to the game and recently bought a couple of custom cues. What is best way to keep the butts looking new after playing. I have a Q wiz for the shafts to keep them nice. I was thinking a slightly damp micro fiber cloth or would dry micro fiber be best, Any tips is much appreciated ! :)
 
A dry cloth should be just fine. Any time it gets gunked up with sweat & grime from plaing, a damp rag wouldn't hurt.
 
The Q wiz is abrasive and will sand down your shaft. Try a dry magic eraser instead if you just want to get the chalk off. The best thing though, keep your hands clean while playing. Wash them frequently.
 
Magic Eraser is abrasive also. Keep your shaft sealed and your hands clean and a dry wipe down will do nicely after play.
