i sanded the shaft, then applied some cue conditioner, and burnished it. i had it hooked up to a drill, and the shaft seems a little sticky. is it best just to use a high grit sanpaper like 2000, and then burnish it? also, now that ive sanded the shaft, what makes it darken up a little? it is sandy white.
