How would I go about getting a cue extension for my current OB cue?

I would like one that goes on the end of my cue - Either in black or cocobolo. Is there a specific company that sells aftermarket extensions for OB? Or would it be best to find a cue maker that would make me one?

I'm assuming that I would need to ship the cue off so that it would match up pretty flush.

Is this something that is even worth a cue makers time to do? A 5-7 inch extension would be $100 or more?

Just looking for thoughts on how people have this done and what ballpark cost I would be looking at for the work.

Have you considered or are you open to the idea of an extension in the middle of your cue? Between the butt and the shaft? That form has advantages over the end-placed extension, but either can be done.
