I have a unique request for the finishing of a cue.
The story starts with me recently getting engaged to the daughter of a pool player. Dave my future father in law had a cue built by his friends Ron to his exact specifications. The problem that came up is he got 80% of the way done and ran into some health issues and could not finish the cue. Basically the cue ended up under weight and it needs to have a butt cap and finish put on it. I wondering if any cue maker could put a finish on the cue and work out the weight issue to bring it up to a total weight of 17.7 ounces with a balance point at 19 inches. I realize this might take someone using a gun board to drill up from the butt end a few inches and inserting a weight bolt or putting a new heavier joint on the cue.
If anyone is up for the task I would love to discuss price and options.
