While Diana Hoppe was at the Midwest Billiard Expo last week, I asked her to get us some pics of the custom cues that were for sale there.

The results are now online at http://www.azbilliards.com/gallery/showgallery.cfm?gallerynum=55

I made the thumbnails and regular pics a bit larger than usual because I wanted to show off the detail of these cues.

Any cuesmakers whose cues are listed in the gallery, feel free to email me with details on your cues (inlay material, etc) and I will make sure to get the info added to the gallery.

Thanks Mike! They look great, all of them look fantastic. KUDOS to the master craftsmen.

I love the Ted Harris cue. Very traditional and extremely clean. Great work Ted.

I'm sure others out there would know better than I, but the Romeo and Juliet cues look like Cognoscenti. I'd love to find out the maker.

I think they were made by Bill Mcdaniel.

That's the first one that caught my eye. Note to self: when it comes time for a Ted Harris cue (hopefully soon), make it a snakewood four-pointer.

"still wondering who made the "Zip" cue.."

Hi Snookered,

I do not remember the artisans name but you can reach him through "Tom's Q-Stix" @ 4700 Dudley, Lincoln, NE 68503. I believe his first name was Mike. I saw this cue while browsing through the ACA area at the Midwest Expo. Diana Hoppe was taking photos of each cuemakers best and had missed him. The phone number is 800 369 9416. Good luck.

We had some of the nicest cues around at the expo. Since the Blue Book of Pool Cues attended we had a huge selection for sale and for show.

Thanks for getting Dianne to do these and getting them posted.
Hopefully, she'll go to Valley Forge and get some more...
Too, as a suggestion, when at the big tourneys, get some pics of the players sticks and put them up. In the golf media, this sort of "in the bag" info has become extemely popular.
