What are the pros and cons of Q-Clip and Porper cue holder?

What's the point of the closed side?

The Porper portable cue rack works well but the clips are so narrow that it doesn't work well on a normal height table or chair. It really needs to be on a "bar" chair/table.

I normally just put mine in my case but if I do use a holder I have a q claw and I've never had a problem.

Mr Chicago Joe... I couldn't tell ya. I didn't design them. The man who makes these, lives in northern Michigan & has seen some success.

We live in a world of Chocolate & Vanilla, I didn't understand why they made cars with 3 wheels..either.

That's okay if you're fortunate enough to play at fancy pool halls. But what about those of us who play at pool halls that are so cheap they built the room with no corners? Eh?

I don't believe there are pool halls with no corners. Where do you stand when you've been bad?

possibly a jump cue inserted tip down?

I used to use the Q Claw, but found it too heavy and large for my case, and have switched to the Tiger Claw cue holder, and LOVE the way it folds up. Also works on round tables, etc... They make them either 3 or 5 place holder....

I have the large 6 cue Porper cue clamp.

The only problem is it works only if the table you are clamping it to it a tall bar stool style table.
The shorter tables the little rubber c clips don't want to fit around fatter parts of the cue.

Also if you tighten the clamp on the edge of the tables chrome trim it will leave marks or bend the chrome trim..................

but if you're playing on the middle tables, the walls could be a ways away and you have to disturb other players to get there...

These work great until some drunk falls into it and snaps it. I either have them in my case or set up the claw on the side of the table where people aren't walking through.
