Hopefully someone on AZ will be able to recognize this logo, I bought this cue a few weeks ago and it is very nice and well made with ivory joint and ferrule, the logo looks like a cursive or scrolled S that is sideways.Any help would be appreciated

Looks like an S series Schon from the original line. I could be wrong however. But that's my first thought.

Looks like the Schon "S" to me, the rest of the logo may be gone from a refinish.

Send Evan an email with the picture, at info@schoncues.com, he'll eventually get back to you.

you are probably right, the reason I didn't think so is the S in Schon seemed to have a bit more of a curl or a scroll to it but like you said it could have worn off or is the result of a refinish.
Thanks
Ryan

I originally leaned towards Schon also but there's a lot that says no. S series cues weren't offered with an ivory joint, the cue is flat faced not piloted, looks like an 18 pin to me, and if the rest of the logo was removed during a refinish the S probably wouldn't be there either.
I'm no Schon expert, maybe old S series cues had flat faced joints? Regardless what it is......I like it! Post it in the Gallery. That's where you'll get the best feedback.

Cue

I will, thanks. The cue is 5/16 14 pin ,the veneers are orange, red and black, the joint is flat faced

Agree, it looks like a fairly early Schon and it's pretty common to see the old logos worn almost completely off. I also seem to recall seeing a few that were flat face cues like this.

Reworked Schon, maybe? If not for the S it looks very much like a late '70s/early '80s Joss West. I've seen one in person that very much resembled yours.

its a schon that has been refinished...mic. the cap at the top and bottom you will see the diff. in size the bottom of the cap had more scuffing as most cues do...and was sanded more...........

Cue

The guy I purchased it from insists that it's an old joss west that's why this is so confusing
