Cue ID help...

So I bought this cue which I assumed was a really rough Adam gb-7 as it looks just like it, but when it got here I scratched my head a bit. First thing the buttcap was too short, the bumper was wrong, and the weight bolt looked wrong. The cue actually looks a lot older than a gb-7 (even the maple under the wrap has the aged yellow hue to it)so I looked a little harder, found that the joint on the shaft has been cored and redone and then split again. The ferrule also looks as though it was replaced in the 80s with ivorine 3? The pin wasn't like any of my Adams, only my old willie hoppe shafts fit snug to the thread(though they wouldn't clear the collar). I tried finding more info on the gb-7 but it seems difficult as it was discontinued. What do you guys think?

You have no pictures of the cue.

I tried to post more pics but for some reason I can only put up one per post so I added links to imgur, they are showing up on my phone so I assumed they were working here??

My take since you are taking the time to ID and I like to offer help when I can because I have been there before here.

Butt looks like late model Karella, Schon copy ? I do not believe the shaft to be original to Butt and off something else. Your guess is a good as mine.

Good luck

I love this...

The butt is 28.5 with the bumper, I think that's a wee bit short for karella ;)

The shaft is a big mystery 30 inches plugged and rebuilt very oddly.

It's an homage to somebody's homage of someone whose name will remain ambiguous

I think the butt is actually pretty well made

I definately see some schon resemblance at the joint, but I've never seen this type of buttsleeve on a schon? Possibly a one off? And what about the weight bolt
