Cue Id and shenanigans
Update:
Welp. I totally understand it's not a schuler. I was just wondering if anybody happen to know instantly.
What's particularly sad is today I realized that there is a crack developing under the joint. Clicking was slightly present when I purchased it but had no problem with it and assumed it was tip/ferrule. It's visibly obvious now and a click with the hit of the cue is now very audible.
I'm really disappointed that the shop that sold me the cue clearly knew it wasn't a schuler(joint goes against what schuler believed in...wood-wood with a thin metal sleeve), yet they marketed it to me as possibly being one with much more value. The last picture is the one that they were touting it could be.
I'm just a kid and all I wanna do is work on my game and play at the highest level. I'm a solid A player after about 3 years but It seems like I run into a roadblock every time I try to deal with someone. It was an impulse Christmas buy to myself since my cognoscenti is getting repaired. I have to sell the cog unfortunately due to bills(Also crazy sad). I didn't do enough research so I purchased it for 500 thinking it was a schuler and worth more, which is totally ridiculous now that I see it's obliviously adams/helmstetter or similiar. Seems like every time I try to deal with anyone in pool I'm getting hustled. I would have totally been fine spending that much since I really enjoy the cue but it makes me sad to the core knowing that It was sold to me when they knew it had serious structural issues.
We'll see what happens tomorrow when I confront them. I totally understand that I'm the idiot for not doing my research and that I exacerbated the broken joint. It's still poor business to put up a cue for sale when you know it has issues and you know it's not the brand you are saying it is. How is pool supposed to progress if you're hustling the new generation of players?

Hello, I've bought an older cue. They seller thought it to be an older schuler and gave this website(http://theschulercue.com/schuler-cue-detail.asp?absid=70) as a reference but it clearly isn't due to the joint not being schuler type and small other details.
Cue was purchased in San Diego recently. No backstory yet.
There are no markings or signatures(checked very carefully for faded ones)
Wrap is black with white spec.
Shaft is extra long.
Any info would be great. Also, if you'd like me to measure anything just let me know.
This is the cue they were saying it was.
