Hello, I was checking through the blue book, and that basic design appeaers many times with different variations. Can you tell me if it has JP on the butt cap, or is ther a signiture on the forearm? I will try to narrow it down for you.
Also, the first pic looks a bit strange, the points are standard floating points with veneers, right? The shape seems a little off in the pic ( like it narrows down strangely) is this just the pic?

It is very close to the PS15 cue. The only big difference is that the ps15 has bird eye maple points.
The design is the same on the ps12 with cocobolo points.
Same design on p22 w diff rings and cocobolo points
same design on p23 with the same rings, but rosewood points
same design on the pr7, pr10, pr13. with dif combo of materials/rings
Give me the joint and pin info with logo info, and I can narrow it down to just a couple.
Anyway, most likely the original retail was prob $600 maybe $700

okay, the ps15 is supposed to have a speed joint.
This cue comes close to many dif ones, but does not match any in the book exactly. Obviously, it is most likely a custom variation, either changing the joint or wood/inlay material combo. The rings also vary between models.
It is a signed "professional series" not a JP series ( which are a bit cheaper).
Okay correct me if I am wrong(it looks dif in dif pics and lighting) but it appears that your cue has
birdseye maple forearm, synthetic ivory points (outlined in cocobolo (or bacote?), ebony bordered mother of pearl diamond inlays and dashed rings.
Assuming I have that right, the CLOSEST one in my opinion would be the
PR10 ( though they came with the speed joint).
This is kinda a tough one to nail down exactly.

Have you tried going to the Pechauer website and contacting them about it?
I had 1 about 3-4 yrs ago that i couldnt identify, i sent them pictures of it, it had a flat faced 5/16-14 pin which i had never seen on a peach before, and they identified it right away. Even though mine was made back in 1994, about 10 yrs old at that time, they knew everything about it.
Give it a try, send them an email. And be sure to take pics of the pin as well.

I have the same cue. I didn't check all the other models people mentioned already, but here is a PL-01. I have seen some other Pechauers with a similar design, but the points are a little different. http://www.pechauer.com/detail.php?model_number=PL01
yeah, I think you are correct. The PL series is not listed in the book, but it seems to be the right series. The cue in this thread is most likely a PL-##, just diff materials than the PL01.
