So my coworker knows I'm into pool and said he had a poolstick he's had since he was younger. Brought it in today and I gotta say i've never seen one like it. Found out it looks almost exactly like a sampaio cue called the "premier." Looks old but there are a few things off compared to the one shown in the cue blue book. Anyone know of any reproductions? I know adams did a lot of reproductions in the 70s of a lot of cues. Will post pictures later.

Adam indeed made one very much like it.
Most of the similar "reproductions" of those are "Taiwan" cues that really aren't of any value.
Pics would be a big help.
One thing that could get an immediate answer is if you can say if the pin is is the shaft. All of those cues with the pin in the shaft that I am aware of are of the "Taiwan" variety.
There were some cue makers that used Samapaio cues as blanks...so we can't rule that out at this point either.
