Please help found at a house sale

It looks like something good, but that is one strange looking pin, at least to my non-cue collecting eyes. Hope to see if anyone can ID it as well, but I'd wager against it being a cheapo, or at least if cheap not a Chinese made $10 cheapo hehe. The wood used looks nice, like it was selected and not just bought by the truck.

There's a guy on eBay his user name is 3cushion. He converts old house cues and sells them on eBay. I have bought a couple from him over the last year or 2. I am almost positive this is one of his cues. They typically sell from $75-120 dollars. Btw they have a 3/8x12 pin. I like that pin, reminds me of something a super villian in a comic book would use to bore a tunnel to rob a bank.
