How many owners of cues could prove ownership in court? Or makers identify when or even if they made a certain cue?
I mark all of my valuables with a simple invisible to the naked eye permanent UV pen that shows up under a UV black light.
Cue makers can mark cues under the finish for later identification the same way.
This is a very cheap system to use for anything and most crooks are a few cans short of a six-pack anyway.
