Cue Identification

I hope this isn't the wrong place to ask for a cue indentification.
I bought a cue from EBay and it was suggested that with the initials, PR on the butt cap, that it might be a Paul Rubino. I wasn't really holding my breath too long on that one but it was cheap enuff to take a chance on.
Since then, Paul has emailed and said that it wasn't one of his. No doubt when you consider his work, but I thought it could be an early one. Would anyone know of a cuemaker that has PR initials?
The finish on the cue is not great but it seems to be built well. You could shoot around corners with the shafts. Pretty much good canidates for kindling. The initials were engraved well.

the case reminds me of my first case I ever had, a 2 shaft McDermott coffin stlye case, this one isnt a McD I dont think because there was a little compartment inside the case. I mention this because this style of case was(in my world, before the internet etc) very popular in the earily to late 80's. So if the cue and case are a package, then I'd guess the cue is 20-30 years old.

The PR also had mt thinking it was a Paul Rebino as well.

Shoot around corners<-------------LOL

Hope you have been good, I came back to Vegas for a while,

best regards,

eric

PS please let us know if you find out who built it.
