Bought 6 house cues today at goodwill.

3 are believed to be Brunswick tru balance cues(partial green labels on the butt) all 6 cues have a 515 stamped on the butt.

One of the cues has 2 X's stamped on the butt and one on one of the points.this is the one I'm really curious about.

Not that I am an expert on Brunswick cues. I have 8. That doesn't mean anything.

The points on the BBC and the Tru Balance that I have are just as sharp on the bottom as they are on the top. You can check yours.

The two end cues look to be and the middle three not. The pics look a little blurry but probably just my eyes as they have been not working great this last week.

The middle ones look to be nice and definitely worth the money to have them converted just the same.

There are probably lots of other things to consider when determining but the sharpness of the points at both ends is one that I know of.

The bumpers are unique to them. I can see that the two end cues have wooden knobs that the Brunswick bumpers fit over.

The middle three appear to have bumpers but I can't be sure from the pics if they are bumpers or end caps.

The BBC and Tru Balance are 2 that I am familiar with. There are probably many more models that I am not.

Either way, I am very pleased with the ones that I have that are converted. They play great so that is why I said that they are worth the money to have them converted for you.
