cue fix

Hello. I have had this cue for a while. It is the one with the dot inlays. I got it out of Florida and thought when I bought it that it may be a Rocky Tillis, but when it arrived and I seen the push in bumper I figured it wasn't because I don't think Tillis used push in bumpers. It is not marked any where and has a plastic weight bolt. which is the first one I had seen. At first I thought all the black was ebony, but with close inspection I can see grain in the butt sleeve but not in the handle area. To me this cue also has a bit of Meucci look to it, but I have never seen a 1/2 joint meucci. The other cue in the picture I believe to be a very early Meucci. Any information or leads is appreciated. When I got the cue I sent pictures to John Showman because of his friendship with Rocky. He said it looked like a Tillis, but the butt cap was wrong.

The buska rings look like my Palmer...and the thread is right.

Anyone with an idea? Anyone knowledgeable about cues by Meucci made for Cornhuskers Billiard supply? Could this be one of them?

If you remembered Mother's Day maybe you might remember a possible maker for the cue.

Looks like a Rocky Tillis to me from the joint and inlay style..
.but you're right about the bumper and the wrap area. My guess is still a Tillis that
has had some refinish/repair work done
