Hello all. Nice place you have here.
I stumbled upon it while looking for some info on an old Schon I bought many years ago.
While I no longer play as often as I once did, I still enjoy the chat that comes with the many years in the game. This looks like a cool place to unwind and talk about pool.
I played local halls, occasional road trips, and played in small tourney's in the Northeast, getting my start in the
early 90's I'd say. Also did a 3 season stint with the APA and the Bud Light Pool league. I still play social pool, but it's been awhile since any action pool.
Anyway, enough about me, just wanted to say hello, and saw nowhere else to do so.
The cue:
I was shooting a Meucci, when I was looking to upgrade. A local fella had a Schon for sale.
It was exactly what I was looking for actually...nice hit, not too flashy...etc. So I gave him $600
for it with two shafts.
That was about 1994 I'd say. I still own it, and would never trade it for anything, but I have no clue what model it is, or what year.
Many moons ago, Evan was at the expo in Jersey. He gave me all the info I wanted and then some.
Trouble is, I don't remember any of it! I currently have an email in to Schon, but figured I shouldn't stop there. So, here's a pic for the experts out there, and any help is appreciated!
