This is a great lathe for doing cue repair, or any type of cue work. We have used this lathe in our shop for about seven years.
It is easy to get tooling and parts for this model lathe. I will provide sources for parts and tooling. I will also spend time with someone if they need some training on repair, and basic lathe operations.
It is fitted in the picture with the six-station turret. This can be set up with depth stops for each station of the turret to dedicate the machine to repeat one operation, or remove the turret and install the standard tailstock and use it for repair or any type of cue work. The lathe is also fitted with a set true three-jaw chuck so work can be indicated in for great accuracy. There is a back chuck fitted to steady your work on the backside of the lathe. You can also remove the chucks and install the 5c collet closer.
The hydraulic speed control has been removed and ran direct, so it runs as a constant speed. A variable frequency drive can be installed to vary the speed.
The lathe runs great but we need to make space in our shop. $4200.00

I also have the following equipment I am also going to sell for space:
Pantograph $900 (engraving or inlaying)
Clausing lathe 12?X24? same tooling as above but also rapid cross slide and regular slide $4200.00
Clausing lathe 12?X36? same tooling as above but no set-true chuck $3600.00
Bench top lathe $500.00
Dowel sander (used for re-tapering or various sanding) $400.00
Horizontal mill (could use for slotted material or V Points or butter flies) $800.00

Call me for pictures or information on any of them. Brandon Jacoby 715-213-2505

I am willing to make a deal on any of the machines....prices aren't set in stone.

I will also be willing to spend a weekend with you to train you on any of the machines.

Brandon

Honestly Dave, if I had the room, I'd be all over this.
Clausing is a top-shelf lathe and used by many pro cue makers.
Given the included tooling, it's a terrific deal.
Anyone looking for a high quality lathe for cue building or even just cue repair would be wise to give this a serious look.
Maybe a pic of the bench-top lathe would help stir some interest.
Cash my be a little tight for some right now but you have to spend some
money to make some money. This would certainly be money well spent.

Good Luck, KJ
