If I am 12 inches taller than Tommy Kennedy and many others why do we all use the same 57"/58" cue ?? Sometimes I think maybe I would like using a cue 61" or 62" in length??? I am 6'3" and not really one foot taller than Tommy Kennedy

While a longer cue may feel more comfortable to a taller player....its well known by many makers that shorter cues play better. Try finding a 60" Cog.;)

I hear 'ya

I know what you mean. I am 6' 2" and have to grip a 58 inch
cue right near the end of the butt to maintain what I consider
the proper form for my height. I remember a thread about this
maybe 2 or 3 months ago, and there was some great info posted.
In fact almost the exact wording that you used, was stated.

I sometimes almost drop a 57 inch house cue on the rare
occasions that I use one these days. I keep reaching for that
last inch that doesn't exist. I was going to try a 2 inch extension
for my Meucci, but never pursued it, as I have been using a
very low-profile 58 inch cue these days.

Anyway, I suspect a search will turn up the thread I am thinking
of, and probably a few more. Good luck.

I am 6'7" and I use a cue that is between 64" and 65". When I used a normal size cue, I was forced to drop my elbow to get the necessary stroke. Now I am useing the pendulum stroke correctly and feel much better than before.
