I was wondering how many ways there are to put a logo on a cue. What is the most common?

pantograph

Thanks Jack, but that's out for me for now. Too many things to buy before I can think about a pantograph.

Sign it or stamp it. :-)
If you have a little money, have the buttcap laser etched.
They charge around $20 for setup and about $10 per cue to do it here.

Thanks, what kind of place does that?

If they don't laser etch, the smaller shops can engrave it. Can design your logo with computer program and will then engrave it in the butt cap. Don't know what they would charge you for it.

I've also talked to a cue maker who puts custom made stickers under the finish and it looks really good.

Mike, can you explain what a transfer is. Thanks Hannphie

Transfers are more of a film than a sticker. Printed with whatever name you wish on it. It goes between the finish which means after the first coat. The old Palmer Custom Cues and the Predator 314 logo are transfers.

I was kinda wondering about that. Sounds rather easy. I would have mistakenly called that a decal. Now please tell this ignoramous what kind of place to go to for those. lol
