I have never really paid much attention to videos of cue making and cue repair because I don't have a passion for beginning either of these two trades at this late stage in my life. I was checking something out on youtube and ran across a video by Bob Dzuricky and found that he has several videos on cue making and cue repair that were fascinating to me.
We don't have a cue maker in the New Orleans area to speak of. We've got a few cue repair guys around who for the most part put on tips and replace a ferrule every now and then.
These videos were fun to view and you can learn a lot about the precision and the problems that cue makers face in making your cues.
This cuemaker has over 50 videos on youtube about various aspects of cue making.
This particular one is about the lowly cue tip.
Are there other cue makers who have lots of videos similar to these?
Dzuricky's videos almost seem to be teaching videos.
