Question: Need Cue input
Hello,
I am amidst a purchase of a pool cue and need some input. In New Jersey, it is very difficult to find a supplier of Schon cues so trying one before buying is out of the question. I have come across Pechauer cues, which in researching hits like a Joss or Schon, but trying out a Pechauer cue is also quite difficult as they are custom orders. So any feedback on a Pechauer versus a Schon that I can get is appreciated. I have looked at previous posts, but they speak more to the look as opposed to the feel.
I currently shoot with a Meucci, which I love, but the joint/cue response of a metal to metal joint, I have found, is better on the regulation tables than my Meucci. The Meucci is perfect for bar tables and leagues, but even with the black dot shaft I am having issues with deflection on regulation tables while shooting a game of 9.
I am also looking into Jacoby or Bear cues, but like previously stated with Pechauer and Schon, hard to come across.
