whats your opion of woodworth cues how do they stack up with other quality cues as far as play ability

Very good construction. I have one for sale at the moment, a nice pointed veneered cue. It has a radial G-10 epoxy pin. Hit is solid and crisp. The only poor note for the few cues he has made from my standpoint is that the finish is not polished as nicely as others that I have. I don't know if it is the finish itself or just a lack of buffing. they are strong players, but won't hold their retail value well, like many, many other customs. Mine sold new last year for $1000 and I am asking $650 and people aren't knocking my doors down to get it.

Woodworth cues

My opinion since I had him build me a titlist conversion was he did a good job, I thought the handle was a little big diameter and the shafts seems a tad over the 13 mm I requested.

Overall I was please with his work.

Resell was poor, but if you can buy on secondary market at a good price as a player, they were okay.

I love the way Woodworth cues hit. I've seen older cues where the finish was kinda dull. I think that was due more to his finish and not his technique. . I had the opportunity to visit his shop several months ago and he had some beautiful cues in progress and the finish was as good or better than any others that I had seen.. If I were in the market for a good player at a reasonable price, Woodworth would be close to the top of my list. Good Luck.

His Finish has been changed completely his new finish is like glass he is building me my second of his cues. Woody is great to deal with with a real good turn over time. In my opinion one of the best out there as far as a cuemaker goes. give him a call 615-740-1790

tell him Adam sent you.

??????????

Woodys cues over the last year an a half the finish is super great. The playabilty has always been there. Woody likes to use G-10 or radial his cues play great. I have owned two of his cues an still have one an would not sell it under any circumstances. I use it on bar tables an absolutely love it. Woody's shop is available to the public by making a simple phone call. He will sit down with you an help you design you cue. Now hows that for service. He also does excellent repair an sets up at several tour. including Derby City Classic an the Memphis Super Bowl Tour which are two of my favorites. For the price an playability you can't go wrong with a Woodworth.

Just ran into him 2 weeks ago at a local tourny. He was on his way to the U.P. in Michigan in search of some great maple if I recall. Nice guy, cues look nice and hit solid. He sold a few, and those folks were happy. Prices seemed very reasonable. He was traveling with a guy they called Jonesy, he put a three pack on me to knock me out of the winners bracket. Jonesy played with a Woodworth,

Wonderful Cues!

I don't know this cuemaker personally but, I have one of his cues and it plays GREAT!!!

IMHO, his cues are not necessarily well known; however, the playability is fantastic and his attention to detail is uncompromising -- TOP SHELF ;)
