Hello,
I have a clint putnam with a 5/16x14 piloted full ivory joint that i want to have a 3/8x10 pin installed in, as well as a pice of ivory for the butcap.

please send me a pm thanks

Chris Byrne is in your area and has the right tool to take your old pin out without excess heating. To hold original value Clint would be the best one to get to do it.

Chris is in Englewood - his website has his contact info:

BTW, I hadn't visited Chris's website in a while - he has really changed it up - looks great Chris!!

There have been some pool/cue shows going on. I know Chris goes to some of them, so it is possible he's been out of town - obviously I don't go to them because I can't even remember the names - LOL

He's a good guy - he'll get back to you.

Gary

FWIW, I'm in the Denver area too, but I'm not comfortable working with ivory, don't have the tool that Chris Hightower referred to, and I'm not Chris Byrne :(

I know Ernie Martinez is in Denver somewhere too - I don't have his contact info, but I could try to get it for you if you like - let me know - I know one player who has Ernie make his shafts for him (the guy plays with a 9mm and breaks with an 11mm)
