I recently purchased this Mezz cue. Got a really good deal on it so I couldn't complain about the dings. Now I'd like to get recommendations on where to send it to have it fixed (OCD). Thanks in advance.
Ditto... it'll come back looking great with no surprises .....and in a timely fashion.I've used Proficient Billiards a few times. They do fantastic work! https://proficientbilliards.com/

i second this motionSending the thing away and paying for the fix for that 1/2 mm ding is a bit silly, seeing how there is a very good chance at some point the same or worse will happen to it while you are using it. Save your money, cues get hit, it's normal.
Cody Cash(PK Custom Cues) in Wichita does great work at fair prices. Great guy to deal with. https://www.facebook.com/PKcuesI recently purchased this Mezz cue. Now you know why you got a "good" deal on it! It has the "double pro taper"!I recently purchased this Mezz cue. Got a really good deal on it so I couldn't complain about the dings. Now I'd like to get recommendations on where to send it to have it fixed (OCD). Thanks in advance.
I'm actually leaning towards getting a Rhino Carbon shaft. Now you know why you got a "good" deal on it! It has the "double pro taper"!
I'd go for a new shaft and add the old one to my collection of fireplace pokers.
Check with Garczar. I believe he has a new Rhino shaft on his MezzIm

Clock’s ticking on that deal!
I'd use black auto touch up paint, it's a superior product to nail polish.Sending the thing away and paying for the fix for that 1/2 mm ding is a bit silly, seeing how there is a very good chance at some point the same or worse will happen to it while you are using it. Save your money, cues get hit, it's normal. Put a dab of black nail polish on it, scrape away the excess very carefully, then buff it a bit to even it out with 1000 then 2000 grit sandpaper, again carefully not to go outside the small area much. But I would just leave it as is. The shaft looks like you may need to actually have it turned down to match the width to fix. As the post above, it looks like the wood is shaved away.
