Cue sale advice?

Can someone give me some help or advice on selling a cue to a man in China? My cue has an ivory joint and ivory ferrules on the shafts and he wants to pay through western union. I told him I wasn't comfortable shipping a cue with ivory out of the country and he says he's bought cues with ivory in the past without any problem, but I'd hate for my cue to get confiscated by customs! I'm not familiar with western union payments either.

Any advice will be appreciated.

I would suggest all advice on this subject be handled privately through PMs.
 
I dunno about the ivory part of the equation, but the fact that he wants to use Western Union should have you very concerned that this is a scam.
 
As far as shipping ivory anything out of the country, DON't, read up on what the penalties are, not worth the risk. From experience, never accept western union payment especially from out of the country, you have zero recourse if something goes wrong.
